Emotional Roller Coaster

For whatever reason the situation going on with me has impacted my son and he is now having negative feelings towards the one who has hurt me so bad. Can't say that it is not expected. Though I need him to be strong through this as well, and he is supporting me in whatever decision it is I make.

There is a time when we have all been told "To be careful what we wish for, because we just might get it." And I'm leaning very seriously towards granting their wishes. And if they want me to move on should I stay and stand my ground or grant their desires? Granting their desires seems to be the right thing as we are both adults and have had numerous life experiences. As staying and standing my ground surely seems confrontational and fraught with dealing with a much longer emotional roller coaster.

Sure there are things to learn from this. We as humans would be remiss if we did not learn from everything that goes on in our lives. The good things are easy to learn from the bad things we sometimes tend to rationalize away, as well it was meant to be or it was their doing, not mine. But it exactly those thoughts we must look at the most and learn the most from.

My current outlook is good my mood good. Who knows where the roller coaster will lead next, as  I'm riding blindfolded.

Just need to simply pray and put my faith in where it is God would have me be.

Pain and It's many Varied Forms - continued

What an emotional roller coaster I've been on the last couple of days.

Well it seems as though this is to be a one way street. In that the other is not seeing that there could conceivably be any part of this that belongs to them. As they are asking me to seek professional help to resolve the problem. Yet it took both of us to get to this point.

It appears to me though there could be some addiction transfer occurring as well. To me I find this rather disturbing, although if the underlying issues of the first problem were not addressed, as I know they were not, then this is a very real possibility.

They also have not been taking all of their prescribed medications and or supplements, which in my thinking is also causing some of the issues we are seeing.

It is a shame as I care for this person deeply, yet they seem to be not willing to take care of themselves even though they are very capable of doing so.

Pain and it's many varied forms.

Today, I was presented with a bombshell, out of the blue. Someone I care for has decided we need to move on.

After reviewing what was said there are points that I will agree are of my doing but this is also a two way street.

There seems to be no reconciliation available and they are not willing to work towards any.

So this is life.

Mother always said;

"Life is not fair. But it goes on."

She was so correct. God Bless her.

Ones Pain - Anothers Pleasure

As I write this I have come to realize that what we individually enjoy, could be very painful for others. For example I find it very pleasurable to have my nipples twisted, bit and so forth and yet there are many many people who are completely turned off by this.

Yet it is their choice as it is mine. So I will not begrudge them at all, so long as they respect my rights. In that while they may not agree with my lifestyle do not mandate the lifestyle I choose to live is wrong.

Because what lifestyle is the so called "Correct" lifestyle? Sure there are many definitions, but the only one that comes to mind is to "Love" and if you live in Love than you will not harm each other.

Yes this has gotten rather philosophical and really does require thought.

Book Finished

This book may not be for the new believer nor may it be one for those steeped in their "religiousosity" (new word I know). Because it goes to simply being like Christ and living in Love.

There were quite a few Bible quotes, and well I had to read them in their context. I would sometimes read the entire chapter or more of the book the quote came from to see if what Ken was saying seemed to fit with what was said and if it fit my interpretation of the chapter. Ken did a good job of keeping his ideas to the scripture he was using.

There were a few from First John and well they seemed pretty rough. But when I read First John in it's entirety, well he tells it like it is. The true explanation of Love. Not easy at all to follow. But such is scripture. I had not read First John is quite sometime and well it hit me right in the gut because it is so straight forward. Read it for yourself and see if it won't do it to you too.

Simply Live In Love and you will do good.

Trying to but it is so hard as sometimes I've failed before I even get out of bed for the day.

Book Finished

Just finished reading Mitch Album's book, "The Five People You Meet In Heaven".

Very well done and it can get to you. It is definitely a book for those who are ready for it, but for others well it can be not what they are looking for. It is very uplifting and imaginative. Will some people be offended? I believe there are those who will be. But is that not the way of all life?

Today has been one of those days!

The day was just good from being with good friends to being with family what more can be said of it? Well there is one thing and that is thank you Lord for allowing me to have such a good day.

End of Another Day

Well the good Lord got me through another day, thank you for that Father.

So anyway I've been blessed with a good day. A daughter of a close friend had a rough one as she broke up with the one she loved for the past six months. But she said it was time to move on, and she felt good about it, oh I'm sure she'll have some moments of struggle with it, lets face it you just don't invest six months of your life with someone with the expectation of giving the relationship up.

Another close and dear friend is recovering from rotator cup surgery. This is going to be a long process but she will get through this.

Enough for the day/night. Off to get sleep.

Folks,

I'm curious to know how many commandments you try to live by?

I've tried to make it easy on my self by only trying to follow two.

But that is so hard to do because as Jesus said on these two commandments "Hang ALL the law."  (your translation may vary)

So what two are they?
